Chiropractic care can help a wide array of medical issues including birthing trauma, poor performance, and arthritis. Treatment is safe and effective for all stages of life and can have a significant influence on the immune system, helping your pet.

Chiropractic is a manual method of treatment that treats dysfunction between two adjacent joints, concentrating on the biomechanics of the spine and its effect on the entire nervous system throughout the body.

Chiropractic care focuses on abnormal movements of the spine, and the effects these restrictions have on the nervous system and the entire body. The goal is to maximize mobility and optimize the nervous system function to allow unrestricted exchange of information between the brain and the rest of the body.

Chiropractors diagnose and treat a vertebral subluxation complex (VSC), often referred to as a chiropractic subluxation. A subluxation is the result of lack of motion within a joint’s optimal range of motion. This lack of motion often causes decreased motion and/or flexibility within the joints but also affects communication within the body, specifically through the nervous system.

Subluxations are corrected by a quick, short thrust along the plan of the joint. This thrust is called an adjustment. Adjustments are safe, gentle, subtle, and effective. Most animals tolerate chiropractic care well.

Restoring function and mobility in the area and re-establishing neurologic communication allows the body to perform at its optimum potential. When the nerves efficiently communicate with all structures in your animals’ bodies, healing, recovery, general well-being, and improved quality of life are the results.

Chiropractic treatment does not replace traditional veterinary medicine. It is not an alternative treatment, rather an integrative method that, when used in conjunction with traditional veterinary care, will provide years of healthy living. This is the beginning of a contemporary, comprehensive approach to your animal’s health care. It is an effective and valuable means of restoring and maintaining strength, vigor, and well-being. By exploring and treating the additional causes of your animal’s aches, pains, and illnesses, you will ensure maximum improvement, top performance, and an exceptional quality of life for the animal companions we love.
